“Holy Family is the perfect example of Mercy for us” Bishop Samson Shukardin

Hyderabad-Pakistan: Three days of Marian Convention ended at St. John Arif Church # 6 Latifabad. Program was held from October 28-30, 2016.

His Lordship Bishop Samson Shukardin OFM was invited for the closing day of three day prayer service in honor of Mother Mary. Bishop Samson blessed the Golden crown and after Crowning of Blessed Virgin Mary the Eucharistic celebration started at St. John Arif Church # 6 Latifabad St-Elizabeth Parish. More then 800 faithful believers attended this event from across the parish.

Bishop Samson Shukardin preached on God’s Mercy in Families with especial focus on Mother Mary. He said, “We should learn from the Holy Family. Holy Family is the perfect example of Mercy for us”.

St. John Arif Church Choir and Dhukhtran-e-Mariam group of St. John Arif Church # 6 Latifabad led Rosary Prayer and Sunday school children presented tableau in the honor of Mother Mary.

Fr. Joseph Kara OFM thanked Bishop Samson, all the groups of St. Elizabeth Parish who worked hard to make this three day prayer service successful.
