Jesus Christ is King, He accepts every sinner, Fr. Younas Shahzad
On Feast of CHRIST THE KING, Nov. 20, the Holy Rosary Parish Warispura made an arrangement of a splendid procession. The procession commenced from street no 6 of Warispura at 9.00AM. Passing through different streets of Barkatpura the procession finally reached to the Holy Rosary Church.
Many people from Dawood Nagar and Bilal Town also joined the procession.
Affluent families showed special interest for its arrangements. To welcome the procession of Christ the King they spread carpets in the streets, arranged rose petals to throw upon the participants of the procession from the roofs of their houses. Great number of people amazingly flocked to join this procession.

Special banners, penaflexes, and charts were carried by different people, youth and children. When the procession was passing through cross roads the catechists were halting the procession to pray for a moment . The youth excitingly raised slogans frequently in favour of Christ the King. They gave very strong and practical witness of their faith to their fellow Christians and Muslims.
Fr. Younas Shahzad OP, the parish priest of the Holy Rosary Parish said in his homily that Jesus Christ is king of the universe who rules from the cross. He accepts everyone and even to the thieves and to the sinners. His preferential love is for the poor and needy. He goes after the lost sheep. His kingdom is not to depress others but to give freedom and to practice love, acceptance service, peace, justice, harmony. May we all accept him our king from the core of our hearts and let him rule over us.
