We should share joy of Christmas with each other, Bishop Joseph Arshad
Faisalabad (Farhan Gill): Caritas Pakistan Faisalabad organized a Christmas Party with special children of Miss Haqq home, Faisalabad on 18th December, 2016. There were 30 participants in the program including 13 special children , 07 children from Bishop’s house, Caritas Staff and Dominican sisters. His Excellency Bishop Joseph Arshad was the guest of honor of the program. Miss Shakeela Noor one of the staff member of Caritas Pakistan Faisalabad red a passage from the Holy Bible in the beginning of the program. The special children presented different items related to Christmas like Christmas Carols, poems, songs, dance etc.
His Lordship Bishop Joseph Arshad shared his views to the participants of the program. He said that this give immense pleasure to be with you to share joy and happiness of great event of Christmas which motivate us and invite all of us to share our joys with each other. Caritas Pakistan Faisalabad being an important institute of the Church has taken right step to share Christmas joys with these lovely, cute and special children who have also been loved by God.
At this event one month package of food items was handed over to incharge sister of the institute. The food package consist of Wheat flour, Rice, Cooking oil, and Pulses etc. in addition to that, sweets and fruits were also distributed among the special children. The organization also distributed stationary items among the children such as; Note books, Pencil, Sharpeners and Erasers etc. Christmas cake cutting ceremony was also held at the end of program along with these special children at the hand of His Lordship. The program concluded with the words of thanks by incharge Sister towards His Excellency, Bishop Joseph Arshad for his valuable time for these children and also Caritas Pakistan Faisalabad for organizing such a beautiful Christmas Party. The program ended with prayer by special child followed by the blessing of His Excellency, Bishop Joseph Arshad.
