Students Celebrate Faith and Education through Holy Mass

Lahore: On 23rd May 2025, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lahore Cantonment was filled with devotion and joy as Fr. Asif Sardar, Vicar General and Diocesan Director of PMS Archdiocese of Lahore, presided over a Holy Mass. Fr. William Basharat OFM Cap joined him as con-celebrant, adding to the solemnity of the occasion.




The event brought together around 1500 students from St. Anthony’s High School and St. Joseph’s High School, led by Sr. Pragashani, Principal of both schools. In his homily, Fr. Asif Sardar highlighted the significance of education, emphasizing that learning is a lifelong journey.

Following the Mass, the community came together to celebrate two special occasions: Fr. Asif Sardar’s Ordination Anniversary and Fr. William Basharat’s birthday, marked by a joyous cake-cutting ceremony.

To further nurture the students’ spiritual growth, Fr. Asif Sardar distributed Catholic prayer booklets among them. This thoughtful gesture aimed to deepen their understanding of faith and provide guidance on their spiritual path.

The Holy Mass and celebrations underscored the importance of faith and education in the lives of the students and the community. By emphasizing lifelong learning and spiritual growth, Fr. Asif Sardar’s message resonated with the gathering, inspiring them to continue striving for knowledge and devotion.
