Catechism program for teachers and children organized in Quetta

Quetta: On Friday, November 24, 2023, a program was organized for catechism school teachers and children at St. Francis Grammar School Hall, Quetta.




Teachers and children from all the parishes of Quetta participated in this program. Children presented tableaux and sketches based on different songs and parables, which the children performed with great effort and preparation.

Different parishes participated to make this program a success. These included St. Eugene Parish (Sibi), St. Pius X Parish, Christ the King Parish, St. Eugene Parish Quetta, Sacred Heart Parish, Holy Rosary Parish, St. Francis of Assisi Parish (Loralai), and St. Thomas Parish (Khoost).

The special guest at the program was His Excellency Bishop Khalid Rehmat, who delivered a meaningful message and all the faithful, teachers, and children expressed their happiness. Bishop Khalid celebrated this program with great joy and also spoke words of encouragement to the catechism teachers. He also congratulated the children for introducing them to Christian education and for their service.

The organization and success of this program is the result of the hard work of Fr. Basharat OMI and Fr. Waris Arshad, who are wholeheartedly considering the spiritual needs of the church.

All the children’s parents and relatives were very happy because all the children presented tableaux and sketches based on songs and parables in a very high way. A large number of faithful participated in this whole program and the children expressed their faith by spreading Christian education.

In the end, Bishop Khalid thanked both the fathers and congratulated them on the success of the program. He blessed the faithful with words of blessing.
