Confirmation Completes The Sacrament of Holy Baptism, Archbishop Benny
Karachi: St. Anthony’s Parish in Karachi celebrated a momentous occasion as 53 young individuals received the Sacrament of Confirmation from Archbishop Benny Mario Travas on 10th May 2025. This sacrament marks a significant milestone in their spiritual journey, building upon the foundation laid by the Sacrament of Baptism.
The confirmation ceremony was the culmination of a year-long formation process, guided by dedicated teachers from the English Faith Formation and Urdu Catechism School. The celebration was led by Archbishop Benny Mario Travas, concelebrated by Parish Priest, Fr. Arthur Charles, and assisted by Fr. Asher Iftikhar, Fr. Pervez, and Fr. Silvan Joshua.

In his heartfelt message, Archbishop Travas expressed gratitude to parents, teachers, and priests for their unwavering support and love, which has enabled these young individuals to stand as witnesses of faith. He emphasized the importance of defending one’s faith, inspired by Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd. With the strength received through the Holy Spirit, the confirmed individuals are now empowered to become disciples of Jesus, spreading His teachings and bringing others to Him.
