“Diocesan Day” at Roman Catholic Diocese of Multan

On Thursday December 08 2016, Bishop Benny Mario Travas presided over a Mass of Thanksgiving at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer Multan on the occasion of his and nine other priests Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood.

Name of the nine priests are Fr. Riaz Gosal, Fr. Shahzad Niamat, Fr. Ishaq Ghulam, Fr. Nadeem Patras, Fr. Asif Malik, Fr. Shakeel John, Fr. Imran Benjamin, Fr. Farhan Arshad, Fr. Aneel Khurram.

Bishop also inaugurate book shop of Daughters of St. Paul at Multan Diocese. The Congregation of the Daughters of St. Paul was founded on June 15, 1915 in Alba, Italy. The congregation came to Pakistan at the invitation of Bishop Francis Cialeo of Faisalabad in 1958. Previously, the book shops were working at Karachi in 1966 by Archbishop Joseph Cordeiro was the first in a Muslim country, Lahore 27 July 1968 and Islamabad-Rawalpindi in 2006.

Bishop Benny was joined by the huge number of Cathedral parish community for this Mass.
