“Every priest must be like a Good Shepherd”-Bishop Samson

Hyderabad: The ordination ceremony of Fr. William Emmanuel took place at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Hyderabad on December 13, 2016. His Lordship Bishop Samson Shukardin, bishop of Catholic Diocese of Hyderabad presided over the ordination Mass.

Bishop Samson said in his homily that “Every priest must be like a Good Shepherd”.

“In the New Testament, Jesus calls himself the Good Shepherd, fulfilling God’s oath to his people. His mission is to the lost sheep of Israel. He will leave the ninety-nine in the flock in search of the one lost stray. He will lay down his life for his sheep. He will be the shepherd at the last judgment who will separate the sheep from the goats”, he concluded.

Bishop Max and many priests from the diocese of Hyderabad from Karachi, Punjab and big number of people participated in the ceremony.Fr William thanked all of them.

Fr. William Emmanuel was born on August 4, 1986 at Mirpur Khas. He got his early education from Govt. Boys High School, Mirpur Khas.
