Special Recitation of Holy Rosary the Grotto of St. Joseph’s Cathedral

Saturday, 17 October, 2020 Archbishop Doctor Joseph Irshad, Bishop of Islamabad Rawalpindi diocese, along with Reverend Father Anthon Ilyas, Rector of Cathedral, arranged a special recitation of Holy rosary in front of Mother Mary’s Grotto at Saint Joseph Cathedral Parish.

Archbishop initiated the recitation of Holy Rosary continued by Girl’s Hostel (FFM sister), Mother Teresa sisters and children, Caritas Pakistan Islamabad staff members, Bishop House Women Organization, Shalom Rosary Group Lalkurti.

At the end Archbishop gave a special message about Mother Mary’s divinity. Since she is superior to all women and is not only Our Lord Jesus Christ’s Mother but also our Mother. It is significantly important that we adore and respect her because she continuously intercedes on our behalf. Mary has been the first faithful disciple of her Son as his mother, educator, follower to the foot of the cross, and steward of his legacy and mission. Therefore, the First Saint of the Church as she accepted God’s call for her life, reflecting absolute obedience to God.
