Christmas Get-Together Highlights Harmony and Faith

Islamabad: A grand and joyful Christmas Party Get-Together 2025 was celebrated on 19 December 2025 at Katoon-e-Fatima Catholic Church, Islamabad, reflecting the true spirit of Christmas in an atmosphere filled with peace, unity, and goodwill. The beautifully organized event brought together church leadership, government officials, and members of the Christian community to celebrate the message of love and hope inspired by the birth of Jesus Christ.

The program was honored by the presence of Mr. Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Federal Minister for Interior, Government of Pakistan. His participation highlighted the importance of interfaith harmony and mutual respect in Pakistani society. The distinguished gathering also included His Excellency Archbishop Dr. Joseph Arshad, Bishop of the Islamabad–Rawalpindi Diocese, along with the Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Inspector General of Islamabad Police, senior government officials, Pak Army Christian officers, Mr. Naeem Bhatti, priests, religious sisters, and a large number of faithful from the parish.

The event was gracefully hosted by Fr. Sarfraz Simon, who warmly welcomed all guests and participants. One of the highlights of the celebration was a meaningful Christmas Play and Tableau presented by the students of Islamabad Convent School (F-8 and H-8). Their performance beautifully portrayed the message of Christ’s birth, emphasizing love, humility, and hope for humanity. The celebration was further enriched by melodious Christmas Carols presented by the Katoon-e-Fatima Church Choir, filling the church with joy and festive spirit. Adding a vibrant cultural touch, Mr. Jabbar Mansha presented a lively Cultural Christmas Geet, which was warmly appreciated by the audience.

The event concluded with prayers, heartfelt expressions of gratitude, and a renewed commitment to promoting peace, harmony, and Christian values in society. The successful organization of the program under the leadership of Fr. Sylvester Joseph, Parish Priest of Katoon-e-Fatima Catholic Church, Islamabad, made the Christmas Party Get-Together 2025 a memorable and inspiring celebration for all who attended.
