Annual meeting of PMS Pakistan Directors held in Quetta
Quetta: The annual meeting of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) of Pakistan was held in Quetta from 27th to 30 January 2025. The meeting was attended by directors of PMS from all over Pakistan, including Fr. Asif John, National Director of PMS Pakistan.
The meeting began with a prayer and a welcome address by Fr. Jeremiah Rafeeq, Director of PMS Quetta. The directors presented reports on the activities of PMS in their respective dioceses during the year 2024.

His Excellency Bishop Khalid Rehmat, Chairman of PMS Pakistan, appreciated the efforts of the directors and their bishops in promoting missionary activities in their dioceses. He also guided the directors on how to improve their missionary work in the coming year.
On 29th January 2025, the directors visited various places in Balochistan to experience the mission of the Church in the province. The visit was aimed at helping the directors understand the challenges faced by the Church in Balochistan.

On 30th January 2025, a program was organized at the Caritas Hall, Quetta, which was attended by priests, catechists and a large number of faithful.
Fr. Asif John, National Director of PMS Pakistan, spoke about the role of PMS in promoting missionary activities in Pakistan. The directors also shared their experiences of visiting Balochistan and appreciated the hospitality of the people.
Bishop Khalid Rehmat thanked the directors for their visit and encouraged the faithful to support the missionary activities of the Church. The program concluded with a blessing by Bishop Khalid Rehmat.
