Pilgrims of Hope 2025: A Jubilee Year of Renewal and Faith
Multan: On January 17th, 2025, the Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral in Multan witnessed a momentous occasion as the Holy Door was opened, marking the beginning of the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025. His Excellency Bishop Yousef Sohan presided over the Holy Mass, which was attended by pilgrims, clergy, and students from Diocese schools.
The ceremony began with the reading of Pope Francis’ message, which emphasized the significance of the Year of Hope 2025. The logo of the Jubilee Year was also explained, encouraging the faithful to live the year with renewed hope and faith.

In his homily, Bishop Yousef Sohna reflected on the importance of hope in today’s world. “Our world lacks the element of hope,” he said. “We need to be beacons of hope, sharing our faith with one another.” The Bishop’s words resonated deeply with the congregation, inspiring them to become messengers of hope in their communities.
